She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Penhale; her son-in-law Ken MacLeod; and her siblings, Meryl, Elaine, Donna and Marjorie.
She is survived by: her children, Geary Penhale (Gar) of Exeter, Kathy Penhale of Exeter and Norma MacLeod of Port Elgin; her grandchild Lia; and her brother Cecil Glanville of Exeter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
