He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Paul Chambers; and his sisters, Helen and Margaret. He is survived by: his spouse Madalene (Phillips) of Exeter; his children, Patti (Greg Keenan) of Toronto, Mary Lou (John Foss) of Grand Bend and Stephen (Denise Sonier) of Portage, Mich.; and his grandchildren, Kathleen, Erin, Patrick Keenan, Hayden, Grayson and Nicholas Tasko.

Donations in memory of Lewie can be made to South Huron Hospital in Exeter, whose staff took such good care of him in his final days.
