He was predeceased by: his parents, Norm Eveland and Ruth Eveland (Dewan); his brother David Eveland; his parents-in-law, James and Jerry McBeath; and his brother-in-law Steve Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Eveland (McBeath); his children, Christie, Cameron (Vanessa) and Cory (Rosa); his grandchildren, James, Caitlin Sapelak, Gavin, Maaike and Caia Eveland; and his siblings, Ruth Ann (Jeff Gosleigh), Linda (Tom Clement), Cindi Hunt, Penny Gollen, Scott (Karen Eveland), Jeanette (Ricky Stevenson) and Elizabeth Maidment. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
