He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Norris and Annie Norris (MacDougald); and his sister Mary Egan. He is survived by: his children, Catherine Norris and Kent Sweetman of Mississauga; his granddaughters, Megan and Grace; and his siblings, Harry (Barb Norris), Joyce (Bob Hume) and Bill Egan of London.
