He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pryde and Hazel Pryde; his parents-in-law, Jim and Amanda Hamilton; his brother-in-law Richard VonDrasek; and his nephew Michael Pryde.

He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Pryde (Patricia) of Hensall, Peggy Ruthven (Alex) of St. Clair, MI. and Larry Hamilton (Janice) of Exeter; his stepdaughters, Sherri Kyle of Seaforth and Dawn Brown (John) of Hensall; and his grandchildren, Amanda Donaldson (Ryan), Skylar Kyle, Harley Kyle (Brianna) and Nicholas Brown (Natasha).
