She was predeceased by: her husband Edward House; and her siblings, Olga Knauer, Rudolph Knauer and Anne Knauer. She is survived by: her children, Ed, Karen House of Exeter, Laurie House, Shannon Rydall of Huron Park, Doug House and Jeanette Smith of Crediton; her grandchildren, Nicole Heywood (Tyler) and Ashley Sousa (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Heywood, Lily Heywood, Olive Heywood, Clark Heywood, Evelyn Sousa and Irie Sousa.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
