He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jaques and Bernice Jaques; his daughter Karen; and his siblings-in-law, Barry Tomlinson and Linda Waye.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Jaques (Tomlinson); his children, Kim Jaques, Alison, Sean Thompson, Elaine Jaques, Dave Bell, Matthew and Jody Jaques; his grandchildren, Melanie, Maegan, Christopher, Hunter, Taylor, Branden and Cole; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Luke, Chase and Chloe; and his siblings, Shirley (Jim Wilkinson), Janet (Ron Henderson), David Tomlinson and Chris Damen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
