With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geertruida Boon of Exeter, Ontario, who passed away on April 26, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jan 'John Boon; and her brother Piet. She is survived by: her children, Theo Boon of Goderich, Gerard, Cathy Boon of Brucefield, Elizabeth 'Elly Kyle of Bayfield, Carl Boon of Bayfield, Thelma Boon of Ottawa, Tony Boon of Exeter, John Boon of Seaforth, Henrietta Wise and Mik Court of Seaforth; her grandchildren, Jeff Boon (Linda), Greg Boon (Tamara), Michael Kyle, Bobbi-Lynn Kyle, Valerie Salverda, Chris Boon, Katie Wise and Nicholas Wise; her great grandchildren, Logan, Liam, Landon Boon and Everett Salverda; and her sister Gina Rood of Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to Precious Blood Parish – Building Fund or the South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
