He was predeceased by: his son John of Minden; and his brother Fred Dobbs. He is survived by: his significant other Bev Connelly; his children, Bob, Penny Dobbs of Lambeth, Lynn Dobbs of Woodstock, Mike Dobbs of Hensall, Kiera Connelly-Tompos, Chad Connelly and Nikki Posa of Aurora; his grandchildren, Scott, Kerry, Shannon, James, Rianne, Kellie, Shawn, Cayden, Landon and Shaylin; his great grandchildren, Cassandra, Lincoln and Iris; and his sister-in-law Patricia McLean-Dobbs.

Donations to Jessica's House, the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation, or the South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
