She was predeceased by: her husband Evan Sims; her son Steve; her parents, George Bayley and Emma Bayley; her sisters, Marion (Charlie Kennington), Addie (Fergus McKay), Marjorie (Lewis Dutot), Verna (Bob Morgan) and Joyce Slorach; her parents-in-law, Bill and Gladys Sims; and her siblings-in-law, Labelle, Mervin Schmetzer and Walter Bentley.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Trevor Sims of Stratford, Calvin Sims of Hamilton, William Harvey of London, Emma Harvey of London and Connecticut; and her siblings-in-law, David Slorach of Oakville and Audrey Bentley of Exeter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
