He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Darren, Nathalie Tinney (Noel) of Marathon, Harlen and Rene Tinney (Redhead) of Mississauga; his grandchildren, Cole, Trent (Claire Frake), Ben and Meagyn; his parents, Lolus Tinney (McClinchey) and Jack Tinney; his siblings, Linda Tinney, Karen, Doug Shirray of Tavistock, Joan Tinney of Victoria, BC, Carol, Quentin Laws of Nanaimo, BC and Heather Tinney of London; his stepmother Peggy Tinney (Iles); and his former wife Marian (May). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
