He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stephen and Martha Stephen (Penwarden); and his siblings, Lyda Jeffrey (William), Harry and Earl.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stephen (Beierling); his children, Doris of Exeter, Bob Osgood of Exeter, David of Exeter and Diane Stephen of Exeter; his grandchildren, Melissa, Micheal (Shaina) and Travis; his great grandchild Landin; and his sister Greta Anderson.
