She was predeceased by: her husband Angus Charles "Chic" Whittier; her son Robert Charles Whittier; her siblings, Erma Wein, Raymond, Carl and Robert Wein; and her parents, Herbert Wein and Hilda Wein (Rader).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Elizabeth Whittier, Margaret "Maggie" Ellen Nicolson of London, John and Jocelyn Whittier (Hummel) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Danielle Whittier (Bethany Ly) and Andrew "Charlie" Whittier; and also Lee West (Wein). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
