It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kernick of Exeter, Ontario, who passed away on September 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kernick and Mary Kernick (Down); his son-in-law Rick Etherington; and his siblings, Anne Kernick, Marion Hamilton, Wilbur Kernick and Elaine Nolan.

He is survived by: his spouse Constance'Jackson'Kernick; his children, Karen Etherington of Dashwood, Kelly Esquimaux (Martin) of Zurich and John Kernick (Lisa) of Elmira; his grandchildren, Derek Etherington (Lesley), Robyn Ross (Derek), Tyler Heywood (Nicole), Jake Kernick (Sarah), Mitch Kernick (Amy), Grant Kernick (Cynthia) and Marlee Kernick (Austin); his great grandchildren, Eli, Asher, Paydon, Jackson, Lily, Olive, Clark, Judah and Jace; his sister Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Kernick, Grant Jackson (Carol), Frances Jaques (Bill) and Joy Rodgers (Stan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
