She was predeceased by: her husband William Bell; her parents, Archibald Monteith and Catherine Monteith (Smith); her brothers, George and Thomas; and her nephew Douglas Monteith.

She is survived by: her nephew George (Mary Monteith); her niece-in-law Suzanne Girard; her great-nieces, Karen, Laura and Heather; and her great-nephew Stephen.
