He was predeceased by: his spouse Verlyn Eleanor Lindenfield (Gilmour); his parents, Edward Lindenfield and Laura Lindenfield (Bolton); and his parents-in-law, Avis, Mervyn Cudmore, Lula, Norm Floody, Lloyd "Jake", Verdun Lindenfield, Alvin Lindenfield, Jack, Ann Gilmour, Gerald Gilmour, Joan Gilmour, Neil Romphf and Alice Gilmour.

He is survived by: his children, Sue (Ron Mitchell), Ron (Glenda Lindenfield), Rob Lindenfield of Exeter, Debra (Wayne Oke), Rick (Natalie Lindenfield) and Ryan Lindenfield of Exeter; and his siblings-in-law, Liz, Alan Scott of Lucan, Patricia Romphf of Exeter and Margaret Gilmour of Lucan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
