He was predeceased by: his son Peter De Jong. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy De Jong; his children, John, Jennifer De Jong of Southgate, Jerome, Susy De Jong of Everett, Paul and Carrie Anne De Jong of Charlton; his grandchildren, Erin (Kyle), Jordan, Shelby (Steve), Shaunacy (Brandon), Abigail (Max), Amelia, Sean, Peter, Maria (Adam) and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Carlee, Drew, Blake and Claire; his siblings, Coba, Gijs (Ria) and Toos (Jaap); his sisters-in-law, Coba, Riek and Corrie (Leo); and his friend Holland.
