She is survived by: her daughter Denise; her adoptive daughter Yvonne; her son-in-law Gary; her grandchildren, Garrianne and Garvon; her sister Ometa Dodson; and her close friend Carmen Walker "Ninnin". She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and friends.
She fought bravely with Alzheimer's Disease for 13 years with the support and care of her daughter.
