He is survived by: his wife Colette McLean; his siblings, Carl (Lorraine), Hadley (Lois) and Marilyn (Will); his brother-in-law Paul Montgrain; and his nieces and nephews, Kristie Smith (Dan), Darin Boulton (Aly), Rachel McLean, Reta Brunsveld (Daniel), Kevin Filson-McLean (Shannon), Laura McLean, Anika Montgrain (Jacek), Emilie Montgrain, Emma O'Neill (Justin), Gabrielle O'Neill-Montgrain (Sean), Kristian Montgrain (Kelsie) and Natalie Mailhot-Montgrain (Tyler). He is also survived by great-nephews, extended family.
