He was predeceased by: his daughter Elaine Eskritt (Johnathan); his sibling Marion McGarvey (late Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Marvin and Mike. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, David Gerard (Dawn) and Tom Gerard; his grandchildren, Shane Eskritt, Heather Eskritt, Jillian Gerard and Kaitlin Gerard; and his brother-in-law Chuck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
