He was predeceased by: his son Ryan Finnerty; his parents, Jerome and Frances; and his siblings, Donna Ouellette (Lee) and Robert Finnerty (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Finnerty; his daughter Noreen (Ali Yusuf); his grandchildren, Liam, Olivia, Jules and Lucie; and his sister Cheryl Finnerty.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (128 Talbot St N, Essex, ON N8M2C4). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) in honour of Ted's memory. The family has chosen to send donations to MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING (MADD CANADA) - LES MÈRES CONTRE L'ALCOOL AU VOLANT (MADD CANADA).
