He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tim King (Debbie), Sandi Groen and Cathy Grein (Steve); his parents, Lea Oliver and Fred Oliver; his grandchildren, Eric McIntosh, Brandon McIntosh, Marijke Groen, Ted Groen (Jacquelin), T. J. King, Josh King, Jayden Grein and Zack Grein; his great grandchildren, Mason, Lyric, Angel, Parker, Cooper, Lily and Ethan; and his siblings, Paul King (Frances), Jake Oliver (Carolyn), Jim Oliver (Marlene) and Pauline Meloche. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
