She is survived by: her husband Bernard Thompson; her children, Anita (Calvin), David and Stephen; her grandchildren, Andrea (Michael), Jeremy (Madeleine) and Jeffrey; and her great grandchildren, Violet and Tonino.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice (Donations are accepted and cheques made to Erie Shores Health Foundation).
