He was predeceased by: his wife Angela Marie Shepley; his brother Cecil Shepley; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Pillon (late Tom) and Richard Galipeau (late Peggy). He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Shepley (Yarka) and Kirk Shepley (Leisa); his grandchildren, Tyler Shepley (Kayla) and Avery Angela Shepley; his siblings, Bob Shepley (Kitty), Terril Mendler (late Frank), Brad Shepley (late Sharon), David Shepley, Dale Shepley and Lynn Shepley; his brother-in-law Jack Galipeau (Mary); and his godson Bobby Shepley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
