He was predeceased by: his grandchild Shaun Jesso. He is survived by: his wife Sophie; his children, Sheryl Jesso (Brian Scurr) and John Van Gent (Fran); his grandchildren, Vicki, Drae and Jesse Jesso; his great grandchildren, Adriana, Danielle and Monica; his siblings, Adriana Armstrong (Audolphus), Aagie DeYong (late Renus) and Nellie Spitse (late John); his siblings-in-law, Jessie Brouwer (Wes), George Christiansen (Barbara) and Christine Christiansen; and his pet Tucker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
