He was predeceased by: his sibling Caslav Chovan (late Otilia). He is survived by: his wife Susan Chovan; his children, Ruth Rose (Ken), Richard Chovan (Tanya) and Erik Chovan (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Haley, Nathan, Sawyer and Makenna; his great grandchild Palmer; and his sisters, Kathy Papov (Mike), Betty Brych (late William), Helen Ruiz (late Pedro) and Martha Markovic (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
