She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Kennedy; her brothers, Ron Kerr and Cliff Kerr; and her parents, Harry Kerr and Jemima Kerr.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Kennedy, Bonita Stefishen (Xander), Margaret Morris (Allen) and Marilyn Primeau; and her granddaughters, Nicole (Vince), Tiffany, Amanda (Jesse), Natasha and Alyssa (Ryan). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
