He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Mary; and his children, Christopher (Jacquelyn) and Janet (Peter). He is survived by: his siblings, Ina (late Joe), Donald (Jean), Drew and Alan (Susan); his children, Paul, Jim (Tami), John (Liz), Lisa (Dave Durocher), Mary (Robert Gibb) and Robert (Martine); and his grandchildren, Craig (Heather), Caryn (Dan), Andrew (Jessica), Matthew (Melissa), Katie (Ron), Sarah (Billy), Rebecca, Jessica (Joel), Meagan (Tom), Ashley (Jeremy), DJ (Shawn), Vicki (Corey), Jackie (Darryl), Michelle (Sam), Amy (late Brandon), Tim, Bobby, Ben, Paul, Ian (Aly) and Cole (Amanda).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home (197 King St W, Harrow, ON N0R1G0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (225 Brock St, Amherstburg, ON N9V2H3). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Victoria Memorial Gardens (1185 ON-3, Oldcastle, ON N0R1L0).
