He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his brother Jack MacPherson (Carol); his siblings-in-law, Jackie McDermott, Mary Lou Ferris (Melvin) and Frederick McDermott (Greta); and his parents, Howard MacPherson and Ruth MacPherson.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Blencoe (Robin), Jim MacPherson (Tracey), Dan MacPherson (Joan), Donna Langlois (Randy) and Bridget O'Neil (Michael); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher (Melissa), Richard Blencoe (Alicia), Joshua, Jared MacPherson (Megan), Sydney Sedano (John Paul), Jessica Macpherson, Jordan MacPherson (Nicole), Jacinta Pettit (Awstin), Aaron, Dalton (Briana), Tanner Langlois (Toya), Madison (Joel), Wesley (Courtney), Emma and Ethan O'Neil; his great grandchildren, Emma, Kate, James, Lauren, Charles, William, Emily, Oakley, Luca, Scottie, Hannah, Ermias, Everleigh and Pettit; his siblings-in-law, Ronald McDermott (Gladys), Helen Buksar (Edward) and Donald McDermott (Bonnie); his uncle Ron McDermott; and his aunt Bonnie McDermott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (128 Talbot St N, Essex, ON N8M2C4). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Jesus Church (146 Talbot St S, Essex, ON N8M1B4).
