He was predeceased by: his wife Janette Pillon; his parents, Arthur "Bud" and Audrey Pillon; and his sister-in-law Barbara Delisle (Ron). He is survived by: his children, Melanie Patterson (James) and Harmony Pillon; his grandchildren, Chloe and Macey Patterson; his sibling Bev Pillon; his siblings-in-law, Wendy Rocheleau (Wayne), Susan Byrne (Brendan), Nancy Vanderbeck (Wayne) and William Price; and his niece Audrey Pillon.
