She was predeceased by: her parent Palmira Pedrosa; and her husband Avelino Gomes Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Maria Teresa (Jose) and Avelino Jr. (late Christine); and her siblings, Vitoria, Jose (Emilia), Julia (Vasco) and Antonio (Telma). She is also survived by many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
