He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elona Skidmore (Ron) and Myrna Bain. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Jay Tunks (France) and Steven Tunks; his grandchildren, Anthonie, Emilie, Eric and Michael; his siblings, Doug Tunks (Ida) and Doreen Gwilt (John); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Boose (Jim), Robin Rounding (Gord) and John Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
