It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Doan (Essex, Ontario), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Doan and Margaret Doan; his father-in-law Robert Goetz; and his son Nathan Doan. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Shirley Hoadley (Brian); his wife Kimberly; his stepchildren, Trevor Courtis (Sylvia), Samantha Durocher (Tyler) and Glen Courtis (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Riley and Kendra Courtis; his sisters, Lynda McKinney (Rick) and Cindy McLellan (Brad); and his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Authier (George), Patricia Evans (Tony), Martha Murphy (Robert), Matthew Goetz (Sara) and David Goetz (Jenn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (128 Talbot St N, Essex, ON N8M2C4). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
