With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex Michinski (Essex, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Michinski and Steve Michinski; his parents-in-law, Vera Patrick and Sam Patrick; and his aunts and uncles, Steve, Betty Szuch, Peter and Virginia Szuch.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Michinski; his child Michele Taylor (late Frank); his grandchildren, Natashia Michinski, Steven Michinski, Hillary Mackenzie (Chris Slingerland), Aaron Mackenzie (Kayleigh Debergh) and Sam Brown; his great grandchildren, Blake Michinski and Gunner Michinski; his children-in-law, Jeannine Jobin and Chris Mackenzie; and his son Alex Michinski Jr.. He is also survived by his family, close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (210 King St E, Harrow, ON N0R1G0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Christ Church Cemetery (36 Sullivan St, Essex, ON N0R1G0).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to St. Andrew's Anglican Church or to Erie Shores Hospice (197 Talbot St. W., Leamington, ON N8H 1N8).
