She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Fairbairn and Theresa Fairbairn. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Shane; her brother Gordon Fairbairn; her daughter Carisa; her son-in-law Carl; and her grandchildren, Gabriel, Eden, Lillianna and William. She is also survived by many friends & relatives.

Cremation with a Memorial Service at the Anderson Lake Anishinabe Spiritual Centre on Saturday February 27, 2021 from 1–4 PM. (Please follow all covid-19 protocols).
