Roy Ronald Rogers Obituary
In loving memory of Roy Ronald Rogers (Ron) who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at the age of 74 years, surrounded by the love of his family and close friends. He is the son of the late Reuben C. Rogers and of the late Marie B. Rogers of Espanola. Beloved father of James R. Rogers (Samantha) of Red Deer Alberta.
Survived by his two brothers Percy Rogers (Violet) and Kenneth Rogers (Barb). He was predeceased by his brother Jimmy Rogers. He is also survived by his good friend Tina Polmateer. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Ron was born in Espanola Ontario on December 5th 1944. He was a person who enjoyed the simple things in life.
He has a deep rooted appreciation for cooking, he definitely had a love for food, this was one of his greatest joys in life, and with this he loved to share. Some of his favourite pastimes were playing a good hand of cards, fishing with the boys, cooking up a storm and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs win their games. A special thank you to his dear friend Eddy Nelson for sharing many happy moments with him.
