He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Simonds and Laraine Simonds. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Darren Simond of Espanola, Dan Simond (Deanna) of Barrie, Rachelle Vlaad (Cary) of Lindsay and Caila Simond (Mike) of Espanola; his grandchildren, Hannah, Hazel, Ryan, Cameron and Rae-Lynn; and his siblings, Rachelle Williams (Stan) of Espanola, Diane Simonds (Keith) of Espanola, Colette Simonds of Espanola and Alfred Simonds (Alice) of Comber, Ont.. He is also survived by many friends & relatives.
