Merle Gibson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Gibson (Espanola, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Merle was predeceased by: parents, Emma Dearing and Milton Dearing; husband Charlie Gibson; son-in-law Nolan Heise; granddaughter Tanya; siblings, Irene, Albert Shepherd Geraldine Bould, Dorothy, Harry Cozier, Leta and Clarence Taylor; brother-in-law Varley Vanhorne; and child Lloyd.
Merle is survived by: children, Gerald (Linda), Jacqueline Hill (Ron) and Launie; grandchildren, Andrea Davis, Erica Vecchio (Ralph), Rebecca Babineau (J. P.), Terry Hill, Launette Jarema (John), Tammy Powell, Jay Gibson (Linda), Jeremy Gibson (Amy), Jason Gibson (Danielle), Jodi Taillefer and Trevor Heise; and great grandchildren, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Roman, Nicholas, Vincent, Lucas, Annika, Griffin, Caleb, Aiden, Aleda, Alexandria, Cassie, Cameron, Liam, Gavin, Gracie, Mylah, Dominic, Dallen, Delano, Emily, Mia, Cooper and Tanner. Merle is also survived by sister Repha Vanhorne Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at Mindemoya Missionary Church Visitation from 6-8pm Monday, Funeral Services 11am Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 Burial at Mindemoya Cemetery Donations to Mindemoya Missionary Church or to the Espanola Nursing Home.
