He was predeceased by: his father Paul; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Élise Landry of Wahnapitae. He is survived by: his mother Laurette Veilleux of Sudbury; his wife Gisèle Veilleux (Landry); his children, Mélanie of Espanola and Mathieu (Dominique) of Espanola; his grandson Lucas; his brothers, Richard (Linda) of Québec and John of Sudbury; his siblings-in-law, Monique Sabourin (Jacques) of Coniston, Murielle Landry (Yvan) of Québec, Carmen Sauvé (Marcel) of Val Caron, Angèle Tourigny (late Aurel) of Val Caron, Nicole Landry of Hanmer and Alain Landry (Donna) of Sudbury; and his close friends, Léon and Marielle Poulin. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
