He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paulette Carter-Owl; his parents, Rosemary Leaym and Jamie Leaym (Iowa) of Newell; his children, Tristan Joel Carter, Sydney Carter Brett Sargent, Andrew Carter, Aaron Owl, Ryan Owl, Julien Kiernan and William Owl; his goddaughter Emma Owl; his siblings, Francis (Scott), Josh, Jeremy, John, Joanne, Annie and Rosemary; and his brother-in-law Jimmy. He was also cherished by nephews, through extended family, being a foster parent.
