He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Sr. Simonds and Diane Simonds; and his brother Alphonse Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Simonds; his daughters, Louise Bertolin (Lauro) of Hinton and Tammy Johnson (Brent) of Whitecourt, Alberta.; his grandson Brett Johnson (Paige); his sister Monique Simonds (Pat) of Duncan; his siblings-in-law, Joanne Lavern, Roger (Dawnie) and Claire (Jason); and his close friends, Audrey and Winnie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
