He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Southwind and Jean Southwind; his daughter Monica; and his sibling Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Matthew of Sagamok, Janet (Scott) of Nevada, Mark (Serena) of Orillia, Luke (Samantha) of Sagamok, Wanda Ann (Kevin) of Sault Ste, Marie, Ida (Greg) of Sagamok, John (Deborah) of Sudbury, Ruth of Sagamok, Brown (Lisa) of Sagamok, Kenneth (Yvette) of Wikwemikong and Jesse James of Sagamok; and his siblings, Vernon of Sagamok, Clyde (Patricia) of Sagamok, Wilhelmina (Sylvester) of Sagamok, Marlene (Silas) of Sagamok, Mae of North Bay, Thomas, Calvin, Carmen and Phyllis. He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
