Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernice Marie Sokoloski of Espanola, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 93, on February 10, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband John Sokoloski; her parents, Adelard Laderoute and Agnes Laderoute (Sauve); and her siblings, Wilfred Laderoute, Jean Doucette, Gerald Laderoute, Pearl Ouellette, Lionel Laderoute and Eileen Caverly.

She is survived by: her children, Beverley Salmaso (Sergio), David Sokoloski (Mary) and Sandra Bois (Roger); her grandchildren, Sergio Jr., Darryl, Dominic, Christian Salmaso, Sara, James Sokoloski and Kaitlyn Bois; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Lucia, Sophia, Adria and Cole; her siblings, Terry Laderoute of Espanola and Marie-Rose McGrath of Stoney Creek; her sister-in-law Cleo Sokoloski; her close friend Brenda McCarthy; and her caregiver Jennifer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
