She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Carney; her sibling Rhona Davison; and her parents, Rolly Leitch and Bessie Leitch. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Carney (Diane) of Estero and Rhonda Buck (Fred) of Elora; her grandchildren, Richard Carney (Michelle), Anna Riley (Mike), Krista Stravach (Dave), Jeremy Miles, Kerry Young and Andy Buck (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Laura, Gillian, Margot, Luke, Emerson, Mirabelle, Anthony, Addison, Aislyn, Ellia and Nola; and her siblings, Sam Leitch (Marg), Emily Lawr, Harvey Leitch and Sadie Poole.

A celebration of Mildred's life will take place at a later date due to the present Covid19 situation.
