He was predeceased by: his brother Jim; and his parents, James Hayes and Isabel Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Cavelle (John Stoeckle), Donny (Janice), Stephen (Deanna), Kelly-Ann (Paul Hudder), James and Jill (Fred Cummings); his grandchildren, Michael (Shauna), Matthew (Kim), Amanda (Cody), Zachary (McKenley), Nathan (Gretchen), Emily, Kyle (Lauryn), Ashley (Kody), Adam (Ellie), Ally (Matt), Maria (Blake), Victoria (Caleb), Ian (Kate) and Ryan (Deanna); his sisters, Marie (late Ray Dumas), Frances (late Norm Denault), Betty (late Bernie Christie), Helen (late Jim Demoe), Rita (late Gerry Saxon) and Rose (late Al Kearsay); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Joyce (late Bernadette) and Audrey (late Rick Howard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church (513 Ennis Rd, Ennismore, ON K0L1T0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to St. Martin of Tours RCC or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
