He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace Rooney and Irene Rooney (Gauthier); his brothers, Bob (Diane) of Sturgeon Falls and Dale (Sherran) of Thornloe; his aunt Arvilla Winters (Rooney) of New Liskeard; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn (Mike), Shawn (Deanna), Scott (Teya) and Greg (Megan).
