He was predeceased by: his son Kriston; his parents, Anne and Peter Derbowka; his sister Elaine Starr; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Hill and Len Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Molly; his son Cecil; his daughter-in-law Katie Macdonald of Englehart; his grandchildren, Charlee and Norah Starr of Englehart; his brother Ron Starr; his sisters-in-law, Alma Hill and Marjorie Adams; and his aunts, Helen Maksimchuk and Helen Kruk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
