He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, Lucille Barnes and Charles Barnes; and his sister Penelope Whitford (Penny). He is survived by: his son Charles Barnes (Lisa); his grandchildren, Edward and Breanne; and his children, Faith and Jerin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home (46 4th Ave, Englehart, ON P0J1H0). A masonic service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's On-The-Rock Anglican Church (7 Kirkland St E, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N1N9).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Masonic Foundation of Ontario, The Rotary Club of Englehart, or The Blanche River Health Foundation.
