He was predeceased by: his former wife Diana LaCarte; and his daughter Elaine Schaffner. He is survived by: his wife Yvette Bernatchez Schaffner; his children, Nicole Millions (Ron), Marc Bernatchez (Lise) and Denyse Graham (Gary); his grandchildren, Julien Bernatchez (Paige), Janika Bernatchez and Erika Graham; his children, Wendy Dudley (Marshall), Larry Schaffner (Michelle) and Bryan Schaffner (Natalie); his grandchildren, Bryan Dudley (Alicia), Tiffany Dudley, Beth Chapman (John), Madison Schaffner (Michael), Carter Schaffner (Amanda), Emilie and Jack Schaffner; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Cannon, Dailyn Dudley, Clara, Cole Chapman and Conrad Schaffner; and his siblings, Tilly Wylie and John Schaffner (Kelly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
