He was predeceased by: his siblings, Keith, Alan, Lawrence, Billy, Don and Wilma.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Rand (Wayne), Fay Arid (Dave), Stephen Rivers (Debbie), Shirley Rivers-Ouellette (Chuck), David Rivers (Helen), Ivan Rivers (Laverne) and Roseanne Rivers; his stepsons, James and Fred Smith; and his sister Agnes Reynolds.
